One piece. No pad. No assembly.

Most washable rugs are two parts: a thin cover and a rubber pad you buy separately, line up on the floor, and peel apart before every wash. A Bloom rug is one piece. Unroll it and you are done.

The non-slip latex backing is built into the rug itself, so it stays put on hardwood and tile, the corners stay down, and there is nothing to put back together after the wash. It is a real woven rug, not a printed cover.

    Vacuum

    Suction only, no beater bar. The 3 mm pile does not trap dirt, so a quick pass is enough.

  2. 2

    Blot spills

    Press a clean cloth on the spot. Blot, do not rub. Most spills come up right there and never need a wash.

    Fold loosely and machine wash cold

    Gentle cycle, mild detergent. The rug is designed to fit a standard household washing machine.

    Air dry, or tumble dry with no heat

    Lay it flat or hang it. Skip the heat so the backing stays like new.

Does it really fit in my washing machine?+
Yes. Fold the rug loosely and it goes into a standard household washer. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then air dry or tumble dry with no heat.
Do I need a rug pad?+
No. The non-slip latex backing is built into every Bloom rug, so it stays put on hardwood, tile, and low-pile carpet. A pad is optional if you want extra cushion underfoot.
How do I clean a spill?+
Blot it with a clean cloth as soon as you can. Most spills lift right out. If a mark stays, fold the rug and run it through a cold wash.
My new rug has wrinkles. Is that normal?+
Yes. Our rugs travel rolled by ocean freight, which keeps prices down but means a new rug can arrive with some wrinkles. They relax on their own within a few weeks. To speed it up, reverse-roll the rug a few times or set some weight on the creases.
Is it safe for kids and pets?+
Yes. Bloom rugs are non-toxic and hypoallergenic, the low pile does not trap fur or crumbs, and anything the kids or the dog leave behind comes out in the wash.
